A FIRST SELFIE!
Today I made a bit of personal history! Believe it or not, I have never taken a selfie! Literally tens of thousands of photos of friends and family and monuments and travelogues over the years, but never a selfie! But today became the exception as a very good friend – and a truly good man – came to our platform to be interviewed – San Francisco’s Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone!
We met in the 1990s when both of us – and many other American men and women and priests – worked in the Roman Curia. Pope John Paul loved Americans and there were many of us in the Curia in the 90s and first decade of the new millennium! There are so many marvelous names and marvelous memories!
And today –a new one!
