HOME, SWEET ROME!
I did it again! 4 Airports, 12 time zones, 24 hours!
I arrived Rome this morning from Honolulu, a long day but a great one. Good seats on my United flights, on time takeoffs and several early arrivals and, best of all, I did not even wait one minute for my luggage in Rome! That has ever happened in my decades of travel to FCO airport. Long have officials here promised to improve bag delivery and it seems to be working.
I had a three-hour wait in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. I was in concourse C and almost laughed out loud when I saw how the airport marked each gate in the concourse! Showing how much they love their football team, the Chicago Bears, these dark blue and orange signs mark every gate!
You gotta love it!
