FIVE CARDINALS ASK 5 QUESTIONS – “DUBIA” – OF POPE FRANCIS
Five cardinals have written to Pope Francis with five questions – “dubia” – asking in their original communication that the Holy Father respond with a one-word answer to each dubia, either YES or NO.
The dubia regard, as you will see, interpretation of Divine Revelation, the blessings of same sex unions, synodality as constitutive dimension of the Church, the priestly ordination of women, and repentance as a necessary condition for sacramental absolution.
