JOAN’S HOME – PALM SUNDAY 2020

JOAN’S HOME – PALM SUNDAY 2020

Just a note to wish everyone a beautiful and blessed Palm Sunday, probably the strangest start to a Holy Week in two millennia! I hope that somehow your day is meaningful and that you were able to participate, so to speak, in Mass. There were certainly hundreds of choices online!

As it was Palm Sunday, I put some palms on the door to my apartment. All year round I have some kind of a wreath on my front door and this morning I added palms. Left over from last year, they were dry but still a light green!

I “attended” Mass in my Rome parish of St. Patrick’s and, if you saw the link I posted, I was also a lector. I later saw part of Pope Francis’ Mass at the Altar of the Chair in St. Peter’s Basilica.

I then treated myself to brunch. When times are normal I have Sunday brunch at Homebaked so I made the same meal today – French toast, bacon (divine) and a mimosa!

Here’s to you!
